Psychle was created by Dr. Stephen Evans and Mrs. Eleanor Evans with a view to offering high quality psychological services in the UK. Individual profiles are listed below.
Dr. Evans has worked and trained in the National Health Service since 2007, inputting to acute and outpatient settings and working in a number of multi-disciplinary teams. He currently spends his time working as a Clinical Psychologist at James Cook University Hospital, specialising in Clinical Neuropsychology. Dr. Evans is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist and Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, with full membership to the Divisions of Clinical Psychology and Clinical Neuropsychology. He is a registered Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council.

Dr. Evans is the Research Coordinator for the Psychology Department at James Cook University Hospital and is also an Honorary Research Fellow with Durham University. He is a published author in the field of memory research and has collaborations with some of the top neuropsychologists and neuroscientists in the UK. He has a passion for research and specifically for the utility of touch technology in the provision of psychological assessment.

In the independent sector Dr. Evans provides medico-legal assessments for the courts and writes approximately 150-200 court reports per year. To ensure full compliance with best practice in report writing and providing oral evidence to the courts, Dr. Evans has completed the full Bond Solon Expert Witness Civil certificate, with modules in Excellence in Report Writing, Courtroom Skills (with cross examination assessment) and Law and Civil Procedure.

Eleanor studied for her undergraduate degree at Durham University, achieving a BSc. Honours Degree in Natural Sciences. Principal subjects studied were Psychology and Sociology and the course was accredited by the British Psychological Society.
After graduating Eleanor gained experience in data processing and administration, eventually working for Severn Trent Water, a FTSE 100 company, for several years. She worked in Management Information initially and later in Business Intelligence before leaving the company to move to the North of England. Whilst at Severn Trent Water her responsibilities largely involved the provision of data and reports, both internally for the business and for the purposes of external audit.
Since moving and helping to set up Psychle, Eleanor has completed a Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Business and Administration and is currently nearing completion of a Level 2 Certificate in Accounting with the AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians). Both of these courses have already served to consolidate and build useful knowledge and skills to help ensure the smooth running of Psychle.
Eleanor takes a friendly yet professional approach to her work, and is committed to high standards and thorough attention to detail. She acts as the first point of contact for the business, fielding queries, arranging appointments with clients, and coordinating treatment within our network.
